Every record carries your organisation's id and every query checks it. Identity and income documents are encrypted, downloadable only by signed-in members, and every download is logged.
No robot decides about a person

The application and the database run in Sydney. We review the code against OWASP ASVS Level 2, pin and scan dependencies, and require two-step sign-in for every operator.

Straight answers
Is my share house a rooming house?
In Victoria, a building is a rooming house once four or more people can live there and pay rent for a room, whether or not they share a lease. At that point the operator's licence, council registration and the rooming-house minimum standards apply. Presift is built for that regime; a share house below the threshold can run on Starter or Plus without the rooming-house compliance.
Does Presift decide who gets a room?
No. The screen compares a prospect's budget, income, move-in date, length of stay and number of people with the limits you set and tells you how it looks. It never declines or ranks anyone and never messages a prospect about the outcome. Every notice and every first reply waits for your approval.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
You have had Premium with no room limit. If you choose a plan, nothing changes. If you don't, the account moves to Starter: one room, email only, no AI. Everything you entered stays, rent keeps being tracked, and you can pick a plan any time.
Which states does it cover?
The forms, notices, bond rules and thresholds are Victorian today. New South Wales boarding houses and Queensland residential services are on the roadmap. Self-managing landlords in any state can use the journey, rent and messaging without the Victorian compliance layer.
Where is my data stored?
In Sydney. The application runs on Fly.io in Sydney and the database on Neon in AWS Sydney. Email is sent through Resend, texts through an Australian provider.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then move to Starter. Your records are never deleted because a plan ended.
